Then I worked on this for a table runner swap and decided to finish it for myself. I am fond of the colors and realize I don’t keep these things.
The edges need trimming, some batting and a back and then quilting.
I started another for my partner, using blue, purple and greens. That pattern is so much easier so it will be used for other table runners.
The lesson here is to be good to yourself too.
Then I am trying to finish other BOMs I am in. This is #5 of Something Squared called Circle of Friends. It is actually a lovely lavender background and just photos sort of muddy. I haven’t laid these out yet and will do a spread after #6. I wanted to show sprouts on the bottom for new friends and full blossoms on top for longer known friends. I do like this block.
I did finish the top of another mini quilt and wii wait to post a pic after it gets quilted and the binding goes on.
This one is for the Orange swap, and is my second attempt at it. I’ll keep the first one. I actually like how that he dark fabric looks like it’s own block.
Funny, how I feel like I am getting a better sense of colors. My offering today is three vert different looks.
Just as I say that, I also think I failed on a scrappy ‘Oh My Stars’ quilt. It is so busy. I need to cut the last border for it yet, so it might shift.
