First Step to the Twister

I finished piecing the squares to a Twister Heart mini quilt. I went through the charms (5" squares) I had already cut and pulled out anything with Spring or Summer flowers.

The second step was to do a sort of mindful arrangement for the squares. Before the template cuts are made, this part needs a border. And before I add any borders, I need to buy a focus fabric for it.  The charms were easy to piece and match those corners. I did use a bit of that spray starch to equalize the different fabrics. The ideas for this Twister Heart project using different themes are just coming at me like crazy.
